DESCRIPTION
Abby is a Life Coach and Gratitude Warrior, and I’m…well, me. Over the course of three years, we produced an 84-episode podcast in which we met every week to continue an ongoing conversation about wholeness and healing for body and mind to help our audience follow their True Norths back to their true selves.
Drawing from our own journeys, we coach each other through life, focusing on personal development, emotional wellness, and the art of taking cues from our bodies to find opportunities to grow as human beings.
THE STORY
Abby was my boss at the YMCA a million years ago. We kept in touch every few years, and one day over coffee, she said that she felt pulled to use her voice more often, and more publicly. I knew I had all the chops to produce a podcast, so I suggested we do one. The rest, as they say, is the rest.
.
We interviewed a shaman, a psychic, and my own brother. We interviewed Marie Manuchehri, author of Intuitive Self Healing. We interviewed John Amaral, who was featured in an episode of Goop Lab. And yes, we interviewed the Rob Bell of Love Wins infamy.
METHODOLOGY
We recorded remotely using Tonor BM-700 condenser mics fed through Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 audio interfaces.
I used Premiere Pro to sync the microphone audio and Zoom video, utilizing Media Encoder to export video (for YouTube) and audio simultaneously.

CRITIQUE
I really wanted to use the music from Demi Lovato’s “I Love Me” as an intro. I did get in contact with her people but I never followed through, and I really wish I did.
