DESCRIPTION
I have a friend who loves traveling to cities with interesting downtowns and taking photos with her Polaroid. I’ve started tagging along with my own camera. These are some examples of what we capture on our day-long road trips.

METHODOLOGY
I shot on my iPhone 11 with the Wide Angle 18mm lens, and then edited them in the SnapSeed app. I would White Balance first, then use the Tune Image tool to boost the ambiance, lower the highs and raise the lows, then increase contrast (all three of those combined gives a faux curves effect), then apply the #8 Vintage and B03 Grainy Film filters, making tiny tweaks along the way.
CRITIQUE
Sometimes I wonder if I over-edit my photos. I definitely like them better after editing, but I’d like to get to a point where a photo looks great but doesn’t look edited. I may start using LUTs on my computer instead of an app on my phone.
